Website - Facebook

I finally got the website template....FINALLY!!!!! But it will take 3 - 4 weeks to get it up and running. Why so long? Well now the website has to be customized, content has to be loaded, and then there's the installation.

The plan was to have the website for selling and use Facebook for Special Pricing once a week. But because getting the site up and running will take longer than expected, I'm going to go ahead and use Facebook sales until the website is ready for use. Hopefully this shouldn't take longer than a couple of weeks....

Well most of my purchases have been made...which means I'm SOOO much closer to opening. Yesterday, I got my first arrival...although it was just supplies...yet still exciting for me!!!

FYI...not only will I sell on my own domain (no, I cannot give you the address just yet, Dolls!!!) but I will also will be selling on Facebook. I'm thinking FB will be for specials only...just maybe.

Anyhoo, enough for now....Back to Work!!!

So Excited!!!!

Why? Because 2 shipments of merchandise is on it's way!!! As well as supplies!!!

Good morning Dolls! Yes, I know most would say what's so exciting about that. But if you knew this (online boutique) is a step closer to my dream (brick and mortar boutique), you'd understand. Also, customization of this blog is being worked on...which is also exciting.

Everything I need (minus my hang tags and actual website installation) is in place...just waiting on deliveries.

And just so you know, I will be having a giveaway in celebration of the grand opening of the online boutique.

Welcome to Rumor

Thanks for stopping by!!! (Although no one's really reading as I just started this blog!!!) I'm in the process of opening my online boutique. I want to journalize the process of doing so which is why I've started this online blog. I thought about using my personal blog for this journey, but I'm gonna keep my journal just that: Personal! So thus www.rumorboutique.blogspot.com!!!

Yesterday, I found a really nice and clean blogger template that I have tasked someone with customizing and installing. I also made my first merchandise order. Now THAT was super exciting!!! And I also purchased sets of gift boxes. A few more supplies and merchandising and the virtual terminal and I will be set and ready to roll!!!

My ultimate goal is to own my own boutique (brick and mortar). Right now, I am in Oregon...for one more year. It doesn't make sense to open something here knowing I'm here temporarily. So the next best thing is to sell online! I'm sure I will continue to sell online once the move happen.

I will be posting the journey of opening my online boutique, (once I start selling) about the merchandise, specials and giveaways, tips and hints, the journey of opening the brick and mortar, and the same specials and tips.
